Winter 2007 Newsletter

The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund has completed its annual Scholarship Leadership Awards program for 2006. A winners list can be found under the Scholarship/Leadership section of the website. More than $300,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to the Brothers who applied this year. It was the toughest competition that we have ever had to date. Brothers from all across the country poured in with applications to vie for the awards. We hope that next year will be even bigger and we look forward to continuing to give out the scholarships that our members greatly deserve.

The 2007 Alumni Dues program is now underway. Alumni should be receiving their letters in the mail very soon. We ask that you please participate in this valuable program as it allows us to continue to support the efforts of the Fraternity and all our Educational Programming and brotherhood activities. Your gift will join those of thousands of other dedicated alumni, in helping us pursue Jackson's Dream.

We hope everyone will make plans to join us the weekend of June 2nd for the unveiling of the new Kappa Sigma International Headquarters. We are posting new progress pictures several times a month on the HQ website and on the Endowment Fund site so please check back often. It will be a celebration to remember brothers! Mark your calendars now as space is very limited.

Even if you cant make it to Charlottesville for the unveiling we hope everyone will join us at Conclave this July in New Orleans. We expect this to be the largest Conclave in the history of the Fraternity. Join us in the Big Easy to see the latest educational programming, and all that the Fraternity has to offer to help you strengthen your chapter. And, as always we will enjoy a fantastic week of fellowship with our brothers from around the US and Canada. Dont forget to stop by the Endowment Fund booth to see the latest giving opportunities, and recognition programs.
