Renaissance Campaign
Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund jointly announce a new and exciting Campaign for the Future to be known as the Renaissance Campaign. As the Renaissance period in Europe brought forth a reawakening and rebirth of learning and culture, the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Renaissance will bring forth the rebirth of vitality, growth, and leadership on campuses throughout North America. Kappa Sigma today stands on the threshold of unparalleled growth in the number of undergraduate members and an increased commitment to the values of Scholarship, Leadership, Fellowship, and Service which are the cornerstones of our Order.
In order to serve the needs of our undergraduate Chapters and Members, Kappa Sigma must have a new home. Plans are underway to build this new home in Charlottesville, only a few miles from the former International Memorial Headquarters and close to Monticello, the ancestral home of Thomas Jefferson at a cost of 12 million dollars.
This new home will include state of the art administrative offices for both the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund. It will also include a museum to house the memorabilia and documents that have been collected over the thirteen plus decades of our existence with ample space for future additions. The third floor will showcase the Model Chapter Room, which will feature a Chapter Room in the style of the Rotunda Room at the University of Virginia.
Brothers, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Never in any of our lifetimes is there likely to be a cause more important or more urgent to Kappa Sigma than the Renaissance Campaign.
To make this dream a reality it will be necessary for every Brother who reveres our Order to make a gift that will last far beyond our years and benefit Brothers for generations to come.
We urge you to make your pledge today to the Kappa Sigma Renaissance Campaign.
