SLA Recipient: Matthew Miles Robinson

Matthew Miles Robinson

Epsilon (Centenary College of Louisiana) ‘11
Recipient of 2013 Benton Cason de la Houssaye Scholarship-Leadership Award

“The greatest pleasure in receiving this award is the ability to highlight the Epsilon Chapter and all of the brothers that have formed and molded me into the man that I am today. Though I have attempted to contribute to many facets on my college environment, my continuing experiences in Kappa Sigma have solidified my convictions that joining this noble fraternity can be the best social, philanthropic, and academic decision that a college guy can make. The honor of the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund recognizing me only further perpetuates my deep respect and gratefulness for the abundant resources and enthusiasm that exists at Kappa Sigma’s Headquarters. To the donors that give to Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund: your contributions are not in vain. The generosity with which you recognize Kappa Sigma student leaders is used to embolden a rising generation of male leadership that seeks to truly exemplify the Star & Crescent: “…he must be a gentleman, a man of honor and courage, a man of zeal, yet humble, an intelligent man, a man of truth, one who tempers action with wisdom and, above all else, one who walks in the light of God””
